Fantasic Personalities is worth your time because it is a very interesting read. Although Dungeons and Dragons has gone through a few incarnations and revisions since this publication was written, Fantastic Personalities is still worthwhile. There are a tremendous number of interesting characters and adventure hooks inside.
Many of the characters described are linked to Judges Guild's huge City State of the Invincible Overlord Campaign. This booklet is a nice addition...a bit of flavoring...to that game world. This does not mean that the characters described here cannot be used in any setting.
Grab a copy of Fantastic Personalities whenever you have a moment and need a bit of a gaming fix. Or, use the characters in your campaign, freely adapting or modifying as you see fit.
